Katia Milrad

I met Katia in 2019. She and two other friends created a support group to embrace newcomer Brazilian women to share their knowledge about the Canadian job market. This group became a huge support channel in terms of business and especially emotions. In this group, Katia helped a lot of women by giving lectures on how to update their Linkedin profile and how to be prepared as a job seeker.

Katia is an expert in HR and she has rich experience working in Brazilian and Canadian companies.

She came to me to take pictures that could  not only  present her as a businesswoman but also as a loving  person that  is connected with nature. The session was great! We planned the pictures before getting to the location and the outcome was incredible.

I am a career coach and I help foreign professionals to feel happy and fulfilled in their careers.
I’m passionate about supporting my clients to achieve their career goals by helping them to understand their strengths, motivations, and values. I also love to share my knowledge about Linkedin, networking, interview, Canadian resume, and cover letter.

I’m currently located in Calgary, but I used to live in Toronto where I completed my post-graduation in Human Resources Management. I have more than 10 years of experience recruiting and training people in energy and technology fields and in the past year, I decided to leave the corporate world to start my entrepreneurship journey.

In my free time, I’m keen to learn more about personal development, positive psychology as well as holistic & meditation practices.
